August concert -
The Chicago Sound Experience

Some of my field recordings will be featured in This is Not a Test: The Chicago Sound Experience, a concert presented by the Chicago Cultural Center at the famed Jay Pritzker Pavilion. The concert will be a montage of works by various artists, including field recordings, abstract sound, spoken word, and radio pieces–all intended to convey the Chicago sound experience.

Dreaming in brushstrokes

I'm painting again after a long hiatus. Seeing the world in hues of burnt umber and alizaron crimson. Getting my hands dirty with charcoal, collaging together bits and pieces of texture rubbings. And starting to dream in brushstrokes.
